The Challenge

An apparel brand offering the best and largest selection of plus and extended size women’s apparel, lingerie, and shoes came to Adlucent to improve stagnant paid social performance.

The brand struggled to scale year over year and was challenged with profitable customer acquisition in social due to rising CPMs and the effect of attribution changes from the iOS 14.5 privacy updates.

How Adlucent Helped

Adlucent partnered with the brand to apply a scientific approach to their paid social campaigns on Meta, with the goal of lowering cost per acquisition. We tested Meta’s Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns (A+SC) and applied our best practices to consolidate signals, test multiple creatives within a singular advertising campaign, and reallocate budget between existing and new audiences.

The Result

We achieved 46% lower CPM, 27% higher conversion rate (CVR), 49% lower cost per order (CPO), and 30% higher return on ad spend (ROAS) over our test, comparing A+SC to our control group campaigns.

Additionally, results are measured in the brand’s internal source of truth versus in Meta’s platform, allowing us to optimize and scale in alignment with the metrics that matter most to their business.

Since the initial test, A+SC campaigns have been rolled out on the entirety of the brand’s portfolio and are the largest demand-driving segment in their paid social advertising.
