The Digital Marketing (SEM) Account Manager works on one or more Adlucent client accounts and is responsible for the development and execution of strategy, prioritization of tasks, and achievement of performance goals. They have an in-depth understanding of paid search tactics and techniques and implements best practices to achieve the client’s performance goals. The Account Manager employs standard online media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results through data analysis and optimization.

The Account Manager collaborates with both the client and internal Client Services team to determine quarterly account performance goals and measurements as well as determining account activities. They conduct ongoing account optimization and testing to achieve these goals, providing regular reporting and analysis to both the client and the internal team. The Account Manager researches and identifies opportunities for incremental revenue and efficiencies.

The Account Manager may have one or more team members on their account to execute on account activities, whom the Account Manager will mentor and train.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing a retailer’s paid search using Adlucent’s proprietary Deep Search™ software in addition to Google AdWords and Bing Ads.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of campaigns; manage and optimize to meet client and internal performance goals.

  • Partner with client and internal team members to define, drive and execute effective optimization strategies and testing schemes designed to improve campaign KPIs.

  • Maintain strong communication with agency clients and internal team members to keep everyone informed of campaign status, scope or timeline changes and manage client expectations.

  • Properly monitor campaign performance against client’s objectives, making optimization recommendations as necessary.

  • Run weekly internal meetings to update on account performance, team activities and results, and any roadblocks; work with the Senior Account Manager and Account Supervisor to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues.

  • Run weekly client call to update client on performance and activities and provide insights around the account and the client’s business.

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing, specifically managing PPC programs through Google AdWords and Bing Ads

  • Strong track record of continuous positive account performance and achieving performance goals for customers

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing

  • Ability to communicate complex data with clarity and simplicity

  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, flexible, ambitious and a quick learner; able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to multitask & work under pressure and build ongoing relationships

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Solid communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs

  • Interest in technology-based solutions, including SaaS and software product development

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Our paid, part-time Digital Marketing Internship supports the ongoing growth and key aspects and maintenance of our clients’ campaigns. Chief responsibilities include keyword and ad buildout, product feed optimization, and quality assurance for a variety of retail clients. The intern works quickly and efficiently to produce high volumes of output while maintaining high-quality standards to meet client goals.

Digital Marketing Interns are trained on campaign production and work directly with account management teams across channels including SEM, social, PLA, programmatic, and Amazon to meet goals. The intern will be part of a team responsible for their growth and development while gaining exposure to the digital advertising field, and, they’ll work with other interns to complete a Capstone Project showcasing an actual Adlucent client’s business, goals, marketing strategy, competitive landscape, industry trends, and challenges.

The Role:

  • Each intern will be assigned to a team responsible for their training 
  • Gain exposure to Search Engine Marketing in association with an account team, partner with Google and Bing, facebook, pinterest account representatives to test latest digital marketing offerings.
  • Develop and upload new marketing campaigns across various channels, getting hands-on experience launching live campaigns.
  • Optimize a retailer’s product feed, used for shopping Ads (PLAs),  by re-writing title and description of products to be advertised in order to increase visibility on search engines.

Must Have: 

  • Critical thinking skills 
  • Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Comfort with high volumes of data entry 
  • A love for an open, collaborative work environment 
  • Authorization to work in the United States

The Role:

  • Daily management of a client’s online ad campaigns on all major search engines using both search engine tools and Adlucent’s proprietary Deep Search™ software
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of account performance, and use this data for high-level decision making based on quantitative data and knowledge of SEM
  • Strategic client communications of account successes and challenges, assisting your account team with client inquiries, requests, and concerns

The Senior B2B Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for accelerating demand for our business via new and proven marketing channels to increase Adlucent market share and drive marketing qualified leads (MQLs). She/he will contribute to Adlucent’s overall marketing strategy by creating demand, generating leads, and nurturing those leads through targeted efforts including events (virtual plus trade shows when safe & appropriate), paid media, speaking engagements, sponsorships, gated content and more.

The B2B Marketing Growth Manager will build a demand generation growth strategy and calendar, and execute on that plan to achieve Adlucent’s lead goals. She/he will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to vet lead generation opportunities as well as analyze funnel and pipeline performance to optimize the growth strategy.

An experienced B2B performance marketer, she/he will identify gaps in our current lead generation strategy and test new initiatives to help us achieve growth goals. She/he has experience in finding and targeting new potential customers, managing event activations, executing direct response campaigns, and analyzing and optimizing marketing and sales metrics.

The role:

  • Conceptualize, develop and own multi-channel B2B growth marketing strategy   
  • Generate inbound marketing leads and optimize lead scoring to meet MQL and SAL goals 
  • Create personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences, and match marketing efforts to those audiences accordingly, collaborating closely with our marketing communications manager 
  • Manage Adlucent’s event calendar including activations, webinars, trade shows, and sponsorship initiatives. Research and recommend new opportunities. Manage prospect list for events and post-event follow up with the sales team.
  • Lead media outreach for evergreen and flight-based marketing campaigns, including sponsored content, paid search, paid social and email. Work closely with content manager and paid media managers to execute these campaigns and analyze performance.
  • Build and maintain segmented prospect lists within Salesforce and HubSpot for highly targeted marketing outreach based on demographic criteria and completed interactions (content downloads, webinar registration, lead form completion, page views)
  • Collaborate with sales team to build programs that support sales enablement and optimize the conversion funnel 
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure marketing tasks and lead nurture workflows 
  • Analyze data to monitor lead and revenue performance and uncover areas for improvement 
  • Report on key marketing metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually 
  • Manage the majority of the marketing budget, and heavily influence the annual budgeting and planning process 

Must have:

  • 4-7 years experience in B2B marketing roles including demand & lead generation, event/trade shows, and paid media 
  • Performance-centric mindset, with a track record of measuring, analyzing and optimizing to quantifiable goals 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, Linkedin Sales Navigator, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt style for different audiences ranging from internal stakeholders, to day to day clients, to senior level executives 
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally, prioritize high-impact activities and keep projects moving forward
  • Test and learn mentality, ability to take calculated risks, fail fast and pivot quickly
