Account Manager

The Account Manager works on one or more Adlucent client accounts, and is responsible for the development and execution of strategy, prioritization of tasks, and achievement of performance goals. S/he has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of paid search tactics and techniques, utilizing best practices in paid search to achieve the client’s performance goals, as well as employing standard online media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results, analyze data and optimize the account with a goal of continuous improvement.

The Account Manager collaborates with the client and an Adlucent Client Manager to determine performance goals and measurements of success for the account on a quarterly basis, as well as determining account activities. S/he conducts ongoing account optimization and testing to achieve these goals, providing both the client and the internal team with regular reporting and analysis, as well as suggesting opportunities to find incremental revenue and efficiency.

The Account Manager may have one or more team members on her/his account to execute on account activities, whom the Account Manager will mentor and train.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing a retailer’s paid search using Adlucent’s proprietary Deep Search™ and BuyerPath™ software in addition to Google AdWords and Bing Ads.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of campaigns; manage and optimize to meet client and internal performance goals.
  • Partner with client and internal team members to define, drive and execute effective optimization strategies and testing schemes designed to improve campaign KPIs.
  • Maintain strong communication with agency clients and internal team members to keep everyone informed of campaign status, scope or timeline changes and manage client expectations.
  • Properly monitor campaign performance against client’s objectives, making optimization recommendations as necessary.
  • Run weekly internal meetings to update on account performance, team activities and results, and any roadblocks; work with Senior Account Manager and Client Manager to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Run weekly client call to update client on performance and activities and provide insights around the account and the client’s business.

Must have:

  • 3+ years experience in Search Engine Marketing, specifically managing PPC programs through Google AdWords and Bing Ads.
  • Strong track record of continuous positive account performance and achieving performance goals for customers
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Ability to communicate complex data with clarity and simplicity
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and a quick learner; able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Interest in technology-based solutions, including SaaS and software product development
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist 

Targeted Start Date: March 30, 2015

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialists work on one or more of our retailer accounts, providing foundational support across a wide range of activities on our PPC campaigns, including production, performance monitoring, testing, and reporting, with a goal of exceeding client expectations and delivering impressive performance results. In this position, the SEM Specialist receives an introduction to the basics of search engine marketing, as well as online retail and e-commerce, marketing performance goals, production requirements, and reporting needs. The SEM Specialist works closely with a Senior Account Manager, receiving instruction on PPC campaign creation, production and account management methodologies, and an understanding of KPIs.

The Role:

  • Daily management of a client’s online ad campaigns on all major search engines using both search engine tools and Adlucent’s proprietary Deep Search™ software.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of account performance, and use this data for high-level decision making based on quantitative data and knowledge of SEM.
  • Develop and execute data-based testing and account experiments to optimize campaigns, working with clients to determine best strategies for their accounts.

The CRM Data Analyst implements and executes Adlucent’s Audience Expansion solution. This person will help in the rollout and implementation of our newest product offering.

The CRM Data Analyst works with our client service team to deliver superior, custom CRM solution for our retail clients. S/he collects data from our proprietary model, and subsequently provides analysis for future iterations of the solution and/or its derivatives.

The Role:

  • Possesses a thorough understanding of the solution offering, including the needs of clients, the methodology by which the solution is executed, and how it aligns with Adlucent’s overarching business goals

  • Creates and articulates compelling value propositions around solution

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree in math, statistics, or data science

  • A keen eye for detail. The role requires the ability to keep track of copious amounts of data across numerous accounts in a variety of ways. Following procedures exactly and being methodical is critical
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to evolve solution strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
  • Experience with machine learning and data mining algorithms

SENIOR MANAGER - PEOPLE & CULTURE/TALENT ACQUISITION 

Reporting to the CEO and Founder, the Senior Manager – People & Culture/Talent Acquisition will foster an untraditional approach to Human Resources. Allowing an atypical level of autonomy, Adlucites (employees) are afforded a level of trust that fosters an incredible culture. Aligning business objectives between Adlucites and management, the individual in this role serves as an advocate for Adlucent’s highly engaged workplace. This role serves as a consultant and coach to organizational management, offering support in relation to human resources and people development issues, and acting as a primary change agent for the company during its continued growth.

Additionally, the individual in this role is responsible for constructing and executing Adlucent’s proven strategies for finding talent - understanding that Adlucent’s recruiting philosophy is paramount to making the best hire for the company and role. As the driver of talent acquisition, responsibilities include internet and direct sourcing, building pipelines, analyzing metrics, simplifying processes, and measuring quality of hires.

Dual Roles:

Senior Manager – People & Culture

  • Develops a consultative/coaching role with managers, including Senior Management, in various capacities, including company communications, Adlucite (employee) relations, performance management, resource management, organization design, sustainability of programs, team and individual development, practice/policy interpretation and application, and other people manager challenges
  • Identifies, develops, implements, and evaluates key learning and organization development initiatives using various methodologies and learning platforms. Primary focus is developing and sharpening the skills of People Managers
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership alongside business leaders and the P&C team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Adlucites, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with outside legal counsel as needed/required
  • Works closely with management and employee population to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention
  • Develops People & Culture policies in order to maintain compliance with state, federal and company guidelines. Acts as a resource to management / employees regarding policy questions, employment law, and legal issues, and educate Adlucites and management of policies and policy changes
  • Gives guidance and input on business unit merit planning, talent management, and workforce planning
  • Champions change management strategies as well as models leadership behaviors necessary for continued success.
  • Additional Human Resources related projects and miscellaneous duties, as assigned

Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition

  • Sources, selects, and secures top diverse candidates through the full recruiting cycle – ensuring that every candidate has a stellar candidate experience
  • Drives high volume staffing needs and strategy associated with rapid growth business
  • Builds strong pipelines of candidates through networking of professional contacts, online resources, in-house resources, and various other outlets

Must have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a HR Manager, with at least two full years of complete recruiting cycle experience
  • A strong, functional expertise in recruiting, including internet and direct sourcing, building pipelines, analyzing metrics, simplifying processes, and measuring quality of hires
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification
  • A working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, federal and state employment laws
  • Self-starter qualities, along with high intellect, good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational and time-management skills with the goal of prioritizing competing tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to be a trusted advisor, with a successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in effectively managing and coaching teams, while cultivating an autonomous work environment

  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and/or MBA
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, and Affintus (or similar work preference assessment tool)
  • Talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment focused on building a superior pipeline and team.

  • Seven to fifteen years of sales experience in solutions selling, having worked in the PPC or digital advertising industry
  • A deep understanding all phases of a sales cycle, ranging from approach to close, with demonstrated ability to close deals
  • Demonstrated success in communicating complex data with clarity and simplicity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical aptitude
