Adlucent Named As A Finalist for ‘The 2016 Landy Awards’ Presented by Search Engine Land
AUSTIN, TX -- August 15, 2016 -- Today, Adlucent, a leading digital advertising and analytics agency, was named a finalist for The 2016 Landy Awards. Presented by Search Engine Land, Adlucent’s work with client Folica.com is up for Best Retail Search Marketing Initiative — SEM. The Landy Award winners will be announced at a Gala during the SMX conference on September 28, 2016 in New York City.
The second annual Landy Awards recognize successful and innovative campaigns utilizing the best practices for paid search advertising in the retail and e-commerce industry. It is considered one of the top SEM award competitions in the industry. With nearly 200 entries in the Landy Awards, this year’s competition was filled with incredible efforts by search marketers across the globe. The entrants were judged on their success in product search focused advertising efforts including the use of product listing ads, retargeting and other retail search marketing tactics to improve online/offline sales as a direct result of paid search channels.

The beauty retailer wanted to focus on growth within non-brand paid search and to grow their customer base, reactivate dormant customers who had not purchased or engaged with the company in recent months, and to focus on retention efforts. Adlucent took Google’s Customer Match to a more advanced level and implemented a sophisticated strategy that pulled in key data points on Folica’s customers to create four audience clusters. In doing this, Adlucent helped reactivate Folica’s dormant customers and grow return on ad spend (ROAS) by 206%.
Search Engine Land created “The Landy Awards” to recognize individuals, agencies and internal marketing teams within the digital marketing community who have demonstrated excellence in executing organic and paid search marketing initiatives.
