Account Manager

The Account Manager works on one or more Adlucent client accounts, and is responsible for the development and execution of strategy, prioritization of tasks, and achievement of performance goals. S/he has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of paid search tactics and techniques, utilizing best practices in paid search to achieve the client’s performance goals, as well as employing standard online media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results, analyze data and optimize the account with a goal of continuous improvement.

The Account Manager collaborates with the client and an Adlucent Client Manager to determine performance goals and measurements of success for the account on a quarterly basis, as well as determining account activities. S/he conducts ongoing account optimization and testing to achieve these goals, providing both the client and the internal team with regular reporting and analysis, as well as suggesting opportunities to find incremental revenue and efficiency.

The Account Manager may have one or more team members on her/his account to execute on account activities, whom the Account Manager will mentor and train.

The Role:

The Paid Social Account Manager (PSAM) is responsible for shaping and defining Adlucent’s social media thought leadership and strategies. S/he manages paid social media performance, primarily on Facebook, but also other platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, and more). The PSAM is responsible for campaign strategies and analysis, ensuring all deliverables are high quality and on time. S/he collaborates with the account team and Account Supervisor to ensure all analytics and reporting are clearly communicated to the client. This role requires experience in paid social and proven performance executing campaigns that meet clients’ KPIs resulting in a measurable impact on their business goals.

The Role:

The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for establishing, managing and overseeing strategic solution selling (contracts ranging from $200k-$1M+/annually). The Role:

  • Completes and submits reporting to the CCO regarding performance, forecasts and expense management.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of all Adlucent solutions and competitors.
  • Creates and delivers presentations that clearly communicate and position and benefits of Adlucent, targeting the message to the specific audience and their needs.
  • Demonstrates understanding and complexities of customer buying behavior and purchasing processes specifically in the retail space.
  • Drives to close sales by addressing client concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the client toward commitment.
  • Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to company process and policies.
  • Travels extensively to pitch and close deals.

Must Have:

  • Extensive PPC and PLA experience as well as other digital marketing channels with a track record of building long-term relationships
  • 10+ years of strategic business operations, strategy, corporate development, and/or general sales management experience.
  • Prior work experience and working knowledge in the digital industry, ideally with deep understanding of particular verticals their respective key market dynamics.
  • High impact communication skills (written and verbal) with distinction in driving discussions with senior executives and across sister agencies.
  • Adheres to sales best practices, develops and ensures recommendations and is consistent and effectively implements throughout the sales organization.
  • Leads by example through his/her philosophy and approach.
  • Experience in the collection, synthesis, and communication of analytics and insights to drive strategies and decision making to shape and drive sales and solutions-selling initiatives.
