Account Manager

The Account Manager works on one or more Adlucent client accounts, and is responsible for the development and execution of strategy, prioritization of tasks, and achievement of performance goals. S/he has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of paid search tactics and techniques, utilizing best practices in paid search to achieve the client’s performance goals, as well as employing standard online media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results, analyze data and optimize the account with a goal of continuous improvement.

The Account Manager collaborates with the client and an Adlucent Client Manager to determine performance goals and measurements of success for the account on a quarterly basis, as well as determining account activities. S/he conducts ongoing account optimization and testing to achieve these goals, providing both the client and the internal team with regular reporting and analysis, as well as suggesting opportunities to find incremental revenue and efficiency.

The Account Manager may have one or more team members on her/his account to execute on account activities, whom the Account Manager will mentor and train.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing a retailer’s paid search using Adlucent’s proprietary Deep Search™ and BuyerPath™ software in addition to Google AdWords and Bing Ads
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of campaigns; manage and optimize to meet client and internal performance goals
  • Partner with client and internal team members to define, drive and execute effective optimization strategies and testing schemes designed to improve campaign KPIs
  • Maintain strong communication with agency clients and internal team members to keep everyone informed of campaign status, scope or timeline changes and manage client expectations
  • Properly monitor campaign performance against client’s objectives, making optimization recommendations as necessary
  • Run weekly internal meetings to update on account performance, team activities and results, and any roadblocks; work with Senior Account Manager and Client Manager to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues
  • Run weekly client call to update client on performance and activities and provide insights around the account and the client’s business

Must have:

  • 3+ years experience in Search Engine Marketing, specifically managing PPC programs through Google AdWords and Bing Ads
  • Strong track record of continuous positive account performance and achieving performance goals for customers
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Ability to communicate complex data with clarity and simplicity
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and a quick learner; able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Interest in technology-based solutions, including SaaS and software product development
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Retail experience, including but not limited to: eCommerce; merchandising and promotions; multi-channel marketing; branding

Sales Engineer

The Sales and Solutions Engineer is responsible for growth. This role works as part of an integrated sales, development, and delivery team, ensuring high quality and consistent sales and delivery of Adlucent solutions. This role is focused on developing and growing the business and is responsible for delivering high level executive presentations, solutions demonstrations, solution recommendations, developing strong relationships with client and prospect agencies, participating in critical aspects of sales, product management, and delivery process to ensure the best possible client outcomes. Additionally, this role will be responsible to provide market feedback to product management to help define future product solutions and roadmap.

The role requires a person who has proven broad and deep experience in the digital retail marketing sector and who desires to raise the bar in terms of quality and market position. This role requires a motivated self-starter with advanced critical thinking skills who can build relationships and maintain momentum with existing and new opportunities. As Adlucent solutions incorporate analytics, account management, technology, and consulting, this position requires a person who is comfortable in and can effectively address all aspects of the business.

The Role:

  • Assist Sales team with shopping assessments and product demonstrations on sales calls
  • Assist Marketing team with a pitch for new products
  • Assist Product team with enhancements to existing products
  • Field ad hoc technical inquiries from prospective clients regarding product functionality, industry strategy, implementation options or full service work-flows
  • Gather competitive intelligence and feature suggestions from sales calls. Communicate these to the Product team
  • Participate in cross functional internal discussion to ensure that sales needs are being met throughout the organization
  • Work collaboratively with Services and Implementation groups to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and optimize chances for process improvement
  • Create, coordinate and deliver product training to sales team members

Must have:

  • 3-5 years of Paid Search marketing experience
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Clear understanding of, and ability to leverage, Business Case/ROI benefits within Sales campaigns
  • Ability to work with little instruction on day-to-day work, and achieve results when presented with only general instructions on new assignments
  • Advanced understanding of online marketing and advertising concepts (comparison shopping engines, search, marketplaces) a must
  • Background in software development and customer service a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree

Application Support Engineer

The Application Support Engineer delivers technical support for software applications and technologies, according to the needs of the business. This role requires an understanding of high-level technology architecture, and the ability to interpret feedback from end users to address all issues as necessary. The Application Support Engineer is part of the BuyerPath™ Development team, which is devoted to ensuring that the highest quality technology products are created, and utilized most efficiently.

The Role:

  • Implementation Support -- perform new client integrations and on-boarding tasks including: data integration, requirements gathering, testing, and data verification
  • Internal and external technical operations support – identify issues with on-going implementations, collaborate with the teams on a resolution, and handle questions/communications from all parties
  • Software application support and monitoring in a SaaS environment -- monitor technical support issues escalated by first-line Support Team; diagnose and troubleshoot and/or escalate issues to engineering team, as necessary

  • Application Development Support – assist with the configuration and test of features and applications to fill specific customer needs

Must have:

  • Unix administration and shell scripting

Contract Production Assistant

The Contract Production Assistant works to support the ongoing growth and maintenance of clients’ pay-per-click campaigns. Chief responsibilities include keyword research and identification, search query mining, keyword and ad buildout, product feed optimization, and quality assurance for a variety of clients in the retail space. Contract Production Assistants should be able to work quickly and efficiently to produce high volumes of output while maintaining high quality standards to meet client goals.

Contract Production Assistants are trained on all key aspects of campaign production and will work directly with account management teams to meet goals.

This is a contract, part-time, and remote position, with the possibility of full-time hours based on business need. Must attend initial training sessions in-office upon hire to train on production tools and techniques.

  • Develop and upload new keywords, ad groups and campaigns based on requests from account teams
  • Optimize a retailer’s product feed, used for Product Listing Ads, by re-writing the title and description of products to be advertised in order to increase their visibility on the search engines
